DESCRIPTION:
A medium size jumping species that come in shades of light to dark lilac/blue they like medium to high humidity and breed readily they are ferocious eaters that like to gather on food they are the perfect clean up crew with a splash of colour this species throws out a yellow albino variant with red eyes if your lucky you might start seeing some down the future generations! this is a sort after designer springtail new to the hobby and is highly sort after by springtails enthusiasts and hobbyists alike
Add these springtails to your bioactive enclosure to give a pop of color! Or enjoy them by themselves in their own container since they're so eye catching. The Red and Orange are much larger in comparison than the lilac or white springtails. In small numbers the lilac are harder to see. You will especially notice them once your colony takes off after about a month or so and the morning after you place a fresh food for them
(like fish flakes)
CARE : They prefer moist bedding, full of rich soil that contain mixtures of peat, sphagnum, If you're using a 'bio-active' bedding mixture or isopod bedding mixture you will be fine. Offer piles of food as needed (every few days). Food such as fish flakes, yeast, veggie pieces, Repashy Morning Wood etc. Never over feed as it can cause more harm than good and could possibly crash your culture!
For best results at breeding keep them at a temp of 15-25 celcius
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE:
30 mixed size lilac springtails ranging from adults to babys
(substrate may contain a few common white springtail hitchhikers but I try keep this to a minimal)
