These little guys breed like crazy and will live in the topmost layer of your bioactive substrate and consume any waste that they come across including reptile feaces , all types of mould and any left over food to keep your reptile and amphibian enclosures from fouling over they really are a life saver. 
When they have taken what they need from this food source they excrete the excess nutrients which goes back into the soil to be used by any live plants you might have in the enclosure they are very efficient and once a colony is established should work fairly quickly to keep the cycle moving. These fast breeding, very active, springtails entice a great feeding response for your dart frogs, fish etc while providing a bigger bite
(These are jumpers!  They are very active, and tend to stay on or near the surface, making them a great choice for feeders.  These can handle a little bit drier of an environment than many springtails.)
